Eventbrite Icons

Version 1

I was tasked with drawing a comprehensive icon set that we could "own". Enter the Eventbrite Icons (Most people in the building call them Kycons because thats what I had labeled them when I was drawing them :D). At the time we were using the font Omnes Pro, and wanted an icon set that paired well not only with its round shapes, but also looked good with the 2 weights we used most, Regular and Semi-Bold. I drew them using a 41x41 pixel grid and a 3px line weight. that way there could be an exact center line where needed. There are ~220 icons in total.

Version 2

The second set of icons I began working on with Lumen Bigott. Eventbrite went through a rebrand where they updated a lot of things including fonts. The change from Omnes Pro to Benton Sans left the rounded icons drawn above feeling off so Lumen and I set off working on these more angular icons with some subtle rounded edges. We worked collaboratively, both drawing icons, and critiquing each other’s work while making edits to our own.
